FMN Ministries is based off of two Bible verses that inspire, guide, and represent our work in Romania.

“Can a mother forget ¦and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you.” Isaiah 49:15

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “Plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

We carry a burden to provide hope and a future for the children and families who are left behind, forgotten, and discarded.

Meet Us

Rachel Ross is a Lincoln Christian College graduate who has prayed for the opportunity to do God’s work in Romania since she was 13 years old living in Las Vegas , Nevada . Little did she know, God would not only answer that prayer, but would bless her beyond belief not only by the lives of the abandoned children and babies she would care for, but also by those who were faithful to the call to come and serve alongside in Romania through mission trips.

One such abandoned child that has significantly changed Rachel’s life is her daughter, Zorica Izabela. In the summer of 2003, Rachel met and fell instantly in love with Iza while working at the children’s hospital with the abandoned babies. The adoption was finalized, after a long journey and many prayers, in January of 2010.

God has placed a huge burden on Rachel’s heart for the abandoned ones and as she has been working in a children’s hospital with 5 floors of abandoned babies she felt God calling her to take the next step. By doing follow-up visits to the babies that had left her care at the hospital and returned home, Rachel found herself in the midst of a huge Gypsy village in a town called Tinca, with tons of toddlers and children running around in the snow with nothing more on than a t-shirt, and parents begging for bread. It was the hardest thing for Rachel to see the babies growing up in these conditions, so she began to pray for a solution, and God heard her cry!

Since then, Rachel has officially begun an organization in America (Forget Me Not Ministries) and an association in Romania (Asociatia Nu Te Voi Uita). FMN Ministries now has a large house and land in Tinca, Romania, (working in the gypsy village where so many of the abandoned babies had been coming from) where they plan to expand and build a 25,000 sq. ft. daycare (running 24/7) able to house 200 babies, children, and at-risk youth.

Rachel praises God for each little life she is able to come in contact with, and even in the face of seeing children barely surviving at times, she rejoices in the comfort of knowing that God hears each child’s cry and knows their pains and has a plan and a future for their precious lives.

Our Purpose

The Isaiah Center FamilyFMN strives to help at risk children, especially in Romania, to realize that they are not forgotten by God and to assist in their development, provide for their protection and to secure their future with hope from God. This ministry seeks to provide stability and nurture for neglected children by meeting their emotional, mental, physical, spiritual and social needs. FMN offers training to parents with the goal of breaking the cycles of abandonment and abuse which dominates many societies. Our focus is on Gypsy children in Romania as we are also keeping a vigilant eye on the opportunities which God will bring.
