BRAND NEW LOCATION DUE TO SOLD OUT CROWD AT 2010 EVENT—GEIS ACTIVITY CENTER
Mark your calendars now! Plans are underway for FMN's annual fund-raiser. Through a team effort of corporate sponsors, auction item donors, volunteers and those in attendance, the annual benefit has made a huge impact on this ministry. Proceeds from these past events, along with a few personal donors and a small loan, FMN was able to purchase the Isaiah Center. Proceeds were later used to pay off the debt on the Center in less than two years! Proceeds also allow the ministry to continue to function with daily costs providing care for the children and their families in Tinca, Romania. Care provided includes food, medicine, shelter, clothing, and educational opportunities for our children and adults. With a remodeling project of the Isaiah Center being planned in the near future, as well as having just purchased land and a house to expand the ministry, this benefit is more important than ever!
The Annual Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction is a great family friendly and fun night with amazing auction items and a delicious, hot gourmet buffet dinner. Plan to start your Christmas shopping at this event and, at the same time, you will be helping to change the lives of children and families who have little hope without the help of this ministry. FMN works with children and their families (parents, grandparents, etc) and there has been great transformation in their lives. They've evolved from being desperate, frightened, hungry and angry to kids who care about each other, knowing the love of Jesus, and learning right from wrong and how Jesus wants them to live. They receive meals, clothing, and care and our prayer is they'll grow up to make a difference in their village. We're helping to change a generation one life at a time!

WHEN: October 1st, 2011; doors open at 5 pm for early auction bids and dinner is served at 6:30 pm
WHERE: GEIS ACTIVITY CENTER (next to St. Mary's of the Knobs Catholic Church) 3033 Martin Road, Floyds Knobs, IN
WHAT: Hot gourmet buffet with live and silent auctions!
COST: Tickets are $15/adults; $7.50/ Children 6-12 ; 5/under are free.

Popular auction items in the past have included designer jewelry, theme baskets, sports and collector items, furniture, antiques, time share vacation packages, overnight packages, gift certificates, tools, golf packages and unique and hand-crafted items from local artists. Auction items are valued from $10 on up so there is something for every budget!
