Florica will be 8 in April, and is the original Isaiah Center child. Rachel took care of Florica for the first year of her life when Florica was abandoned in the children’s hospital. After that first year, the police forced Florica’s parents to come back to the hospital and take her home. Rachel did some digging and found Florica’s address and began visiting her in the Gypsy village, bringing supplies and looking for opportunities to witness to her family. It was through these visits to Florica that God began to grow a vision in Rachel’s heart to begin working directly with the people group responsible for 80% of Romania’s abandoned children, the Roma.

Florica is our a little helper, and is always wanting to hand out things, clean up for us, fold the clothes, and tidy up. She is our little spunky one, and always has a cheeky little grin on her face.
