Maria is 7 years old, and was abandoned at birth by her mother. Maria lives with her grandmother and grandfather, but there is abuse that occurs and the grandparents are not always able to properly provide for her needs. Maria is a shy, cuddly, smart little girl, who loves to dance and color. Maria is the first one to give hugs away to the other kids as they meet each day. She has a sweet spirit and loves to fix the girls’ hair and we are thankful for the bond that she has with her grandma and we desire to nourish that even as we see that all her needs are met.
