roma down syndrome child alex Our special little guy I'd like to report on this time is our little Alex. Alex is 6 years old and has overcome many obstacles as he was abandoned and has Down Syndrome. Alex is much stronger, has developed his leg muscles as well as his upper body strength, and is gaining the confidence to overcome his fear and walk. A nearby foundation, “Theranova”, fitted Alex with special leg stints that help him to correct his legs (and especially his ankles) and give him the strength, confidence, and courage to walk.

Oh, he is SO perfect and handsome. Praying that the cost of those leg braces is covered and that those leg braces do the trick! Next time I see him, I want to see him run at me full force. :) Sending hugs and prayers to him!

and the leg braces have worked. i was out there in the summer holiday and we saw him walk with out them it is a mircal!!!! xx
